Product description

40-70 mm crushed stone is a coarse cubic-shaped diabase fraction (Sartauskoye-8 deposit, Aktobe region). M1400-M1600 strength grade and ≈3 g/cm³ density deliver high load-bearing capacity for fills and base layers. The cubical grain shape increases pack density and prevents settlement under significant loads.

Used for foundation cushions beneath slab and strip footings, lower road-base layers, deep drainage and filtration layers, industrial platform fills and engineered embankments. Also suitable as a coarse aggregate for ultra-strong concrete mixes serving massive structures.

Advantages of HKC diabase

  • High strength M1400 — handles heavy structural loads, qualifies for M400+ concrete
  • Frost resistance F300 — built for the climate of North and West Kazakhstan with sharp temperature swings
  • Cubical shape (≤10% flakiness) — reduces cement consumption for the same concrete strength
  • Class I radiation safety — no restrictions for residential and civic construction
  • Compliance with GOST 8267-93 — complete document pack for tenders and state procurement
  • Direct from manufacturer — no middlemen, shipped from our own quarry in Aktobe region

Frequently asked questions

How much does 40-70 gravel (diabase) cost?

Retail price of 40-70 gravel (diabase) at HKC is 2,850 KZT/t including VAT, with wagon loading at Bershogyr station included. Wholesale terms are available for large buyers — contact our manager.

What is the difference between cubic-shaped and ordinary crushed stone?

Cubical grain shape (flakiness ≤10%) produces tighter packing. In concrete this means lower cement consumption for the same strength grade — up to 10-15% saving. In asphalt, cubical aggregate delivers better bonding with bitumen and a longer pavement life.

What is the minimum order?

Minimum order — 1 rail wagon (about 69 tonnes). For large projects we assemble trains of any size. Truck shipping is not offered — rail only.

Which destinations do you serve?

We ship by rail across Kazakhstan from our siding at Bershogyr station (Shalkar district). Primary destinations: Atyrau, Mangystau (Aktau), Aktobe, Uralsk and other regions. Delivered prices on request.

Which documents are provided?

Every batch ships with a quality passport, test reports and conformity certificate per GOST 8267-93. Tender packs include a radiological report.
